Safety First
Improperly dried equipment combined with broken or irritated skin and can lead to skin infections or worse. Maximum drying is achieved through High volumes of slightly warmed air forced deep into the garment, taking moisture with it. As a result, MegaBlast Turnout Gear Dryers provide a safer and more comfortable work environment for your employees, reducing the risk of infections and diseases such as:

✪ Timer Switch (optional)
✪ Switches are mounted high on the frame to avoid contact with possible moisture.
✪ “Heat” setting cannot be activated without activating the fan first.
✪ All wiring is integrated into the steel frame of the machine.
✪ Blowers are “Thermally Protected” and shut off automatically if overheating occurs.
✪ Blowers feature a stainless steel intake screen to prevent accidental contact.
✪ A ”High Temperature Cut Off” switch is mounted in the manifold to prevent over heating.
✪ All wiring used is rated as “ High Temp” by CSA.
✪ Wide stance frame base prevents "Tip Overs"

How they work

Efficient drying is achieved by introducing a high volume of slightly warmed air deep into the garments extremities (arms and legs). As this slightly warmed air is forced out of the garment, it absorbs, and draws moisture from the material as it exits from the garment.
Note, Introduced heat, dries the air, not the garment as NFPA clearly states a non abrasive, low temp ( 105 degree max ) drying process. The dryer the air, the more moisture it will pull from the garment.
The 4 suit dryer ( MB-1500FDD-NH ) has no heat elements, instead, doubles the airflow to 980cfm, ideal for more temperate, lower humidity regions, but still performs exceptionally well in cooler environments.
